'Shapes of Water' is a hypnotic prayer for regeneration unfolding over nearly seven minutes into an ethereal blend of ambient post-rock.

The song began as an official demo for EarthQuaker Devices' Aqueduct pedal, and from there grew into a live-looping set favorite. It was later recorded live for Dreamgaze, a world-wide music festival presented by DKFM Shoegaze Radio. Fournier then went on to produce the song at home, adding layers of electronics into the sound-scape, then finally finishing it in-studio with live drums.
